Changes in the production and energy supply:

  • Heating available from waste heat of the refrigeration system which was done with natural gas before

Project Description:

The Mohr brewery is the oldest and most modern brewery in Vorarlberg.The product range from beer, sodas, juices, wine and Whiskey. There is approximately 600,000-700,000 bottles per week being bottled.

Energy efficiency was key so they ensured to take care of standby mode of PC devices and focussed on Heat recovery from the NH3 refrigeration circuit by means of a High-pressure pump and in compressed air system. The total savings was 1,426,000 kWh/a.
